Learning and development heats up for winter

Come in out of the cold for one of the many staff learning and development courses offered by MIT Human Resources. With more than 20 courses scheduled between now and late March, there are lots of learning opportunities to choose from.

Course topics include goal setting, giving feedback, micro-messages, mastering meetings, managing across generations, and preparing and delivering presentations.

Also on the schedule is a bundle of courses designed to help support staff and managers prepare for the support staff performance review process:

Coming soon: Essentials in Managing

New MIT managers and managers looking for a refresher on best practices are encouraged to participate in Essentials of Managing, MIT’s six-session cohort management development program. The program will be offered this spring between April 27 and June 1. Look for information on enrollment in the February issue of "People Matters," MIT Human Resources’ monthly email newsletter.
