The Adaptive Technology for Information and Computing (ATIC) Lab will hold an open house in Rm 11-103 from 1-4pm on Tuesday, Feb. 29 to mark the first annual International Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) Awareness Day.
The ATIC Lab provides consulting and services on adaptive technologies for members of the MIT community with disabilities. Adaptive technology solutions for RSIs that will be demonstrated at the open house include voice recognition software, alternative pointing devices and keyboards, and break/exercise software. Technologies for the visually impaired, such as screen-reading and magnification software, will also be demonstrated.
