MIT Sloan launches "Clean Energy Ventures"

New workshop on building and sustaining clean energy businesses
The MIT Sloan School of Management, in collaboration with the MIT Energy Initiative and the School of Engineering, will be launching a groundbreaking new workshop called Clean Energy Ventures: Creating Innovative New Businesses Through Entrepreneurial Management.

The Clean Energy Ventures workshop is a hands-on program designed for senior-level executives in energy and energy-related companies as well as government leaders who are responsible for driving innovation in clean energy. This four-day program, which will run May 2-6, 2010, is another example of MIT's cross-campus collaboration around energy. The process includes identifying opportunities, generating new ideas, designing a holistic solution and building a viable, significant and sustainable new energy-oriented business.
