Of note: Annual Energy Night taking place Oct. 16

Hosted by the MIT Energy Club and the MIT Sloan Energy and Environment Club, the fifth annual Energy Night will showcase the most exciting energy research, education and entrepreneurship at MIT.

The event, which is taking place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, at the MIT Museum (265 Massachusetts Ave.), is free and open to the public. Participants will have the opportunity to meet experts from various energy-related fields and to discuss ideas for new energy research and business opportunities.

A live jazz band, hors d'oeuvres and more will be available alongside the more than 60 displays that will focus on the science, engineering, policy and business of energy.
