AeroAstro's Castonia named USAF Cadet of the Year

AeroAstro student Cadet Col. Ryan W. Castonia has been named U.S. Air Force Cadet of the Year by Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton A. Schwartz.

The Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. Norton A. Schwartz, has named Cadet Col. Ryan W. Castonia the 2009 United States Air Force Cadet of the Year. Castonia is a member of the Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps Detachment 365 in Cambridge, Mass. Cadet Castonia, who served as the cadet wing commander at the time of nomination, is scheduled to graduate in June 2010 with a bachelor's and master's degree. The award recognizes the most outstanding cadet in one of the three Air Force commissioning programs — Officer Training School, the Air Force Academy and Air Force ROTC.
