Addendum

A memorial service for sophomore Julia Carpenter, who died on April 30, will be held Tuesday, May 14 at 5pm in the MIT Chapel.

Her family requests that donations in her memory be made to the Memorial Drive Methodist Church in Houston, TX, where her funeral service took place last Thursday. The denomination of the church was incorrectly stated in last week's Tech Talk article.

A version of this article appeared in MIT Tech Talk on May 9, 2001.
