Scholarships, school honor memory of Micheletti

Campaigns to memorialize Michele Micheletti have been launched at both the elementary school and the high school she attended.

St. Dunstan's School in her hometown of Millbrae, CA, plans to build a new wing that will house a computer room and a science laboratory. It will be named for Ms. Micheletti, who was majoring in electrical engineering and computer science.

Notre Dame High School in Bel-mont, CA, will present the Michele Micheletti Award annually to an outstanding senior who has excelled in academics, extracurricular activities and public service.

The Junior Statesmen's Foundation of America established a Michele Micheletti Scholarship Fund at the time of her death. This award also will be presented annually.
