Women's League holds dinner dance

The MIT Women's League will hold a Supper Club Dance on Friday, Nov. 6 at the Faculty Club.

This festive, semiformal evening provides a relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to meet and socialize with other members of the MIT community outside one's daily teaching, research or administrative areas. It will begin with a social hour at 7:30pm followed by a four-course dinner with a choice of a beef or salmon entree at 8 pm. A seven-piece live band, including Professors Justin Kerwin and A. Douglas Carmichael of the Department of Ocean Engineering, will provide the music.

Tickets are $90 per couple and can be purchased in the Women's League office in Rm 10-342. The deadline for reservations is Monday, Oct. 26. For more information, call x3-3656 or e-mail
