The Bernard M. Gordon Engineering Leadership Program will host an information session (with lunch) for Edgerton Clubs and Teams on Thursday, Jan. 24 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Building N51 (first floor common area).
The GEL program prepares next-generation technical leaders by helping them understand and address significant engineering problems in real-world situations. Past Clubs and Teams participants in GEL will speak briefly about how the GEL program has helped them.
With guidance and support from GEL, MIT's Design/Build/Fly Team constructed a remote control airplane for the annual AIAA Design/Build/Fly Competition. GEL also supported the Edgerton-sponsored Formula SAE team which placed 16th out of 120 teams in the 2012 FSAE competition in Michigan.
