MIT Athletics celebrated inside and out this past weekend. In its final home game of the season, the MIT football team shocked nationally ranked Salve Regina University. After the game, the men's and women's basketball teams drummed up excitement for their upcoming seasons at the Beaver Madness rally in Rockwell Cage.
Friday's game was also senior night for the football team, and the players honored their graduating teammates with a come-from-behind 20-19 win against previously undefeated Salve Regina University. A steady drizzle at Steinbrenner Stadium could not dampen the spirits of the team or deter the fans who packed the to cheer the Engineers on to victory.
