Community event today for MIT’s 17th president

This morning, L. Rafael Reif, a distinguished electrical engineer whose seven-year tenure as MIT’s provost has helped MIT maintain its appetite for bold action as well as its firm financial footing, was selected as the 17th president of the Institute.

The MIT community is invited to meet with the president-elect during an event that will take place at 2 p.m. in 10-250, with a reception to follow in Lobby 10.
