Arab Students’ Organization SciTech Awards Banquet

The MIT Arab Students’ Organization (ASO) Annual Science and Technology Awards Banquet (SciTech) is the ASO's flagship event, where the ASO hosts more than 150 guests to celebrate the career-long achievements of the Lifetime Achievement Award winner, an Arab or Arab-American who has made important contributions in science and technology.

Through this celebration we advocate for the advancement of science and technology, which lies at the heart of the MIT mission.

This year, Dr. Huda Akil, former president of the Society for Neuroscience and professor of neurosciences at the University of Michigan, will be the keynote speaker and Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. MIT Chancellor Professor Eric Grimson will present the award to Dr. Akil and give a few remarks.

The SciTech Banquet will be held in Mandarin Oriental Hotel Boston on April 6 at 6 p.m.. Please visit MIT ASO website for tickets.
