Community picnic today to honor Clay

A community picnic will be held today, from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the first floor of the Johnson Athletics Center, to celebrate the many contributions of Professor Phillip Clay in his role as MIT's chancellor.

Clay PhD ’75, who recently stepped down from the chancellor's role, had held that position since 2001.

The event is sponsored by the Office of the President in collaboration with the Undergraduate Association and the Graduate Student Council, to celebrate the many contributions of Professor Phillip Clay in his role as Chancellor.
