MIT faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the annual State of the Institute Forum at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, in Kresge Auditorium. Following the forum, which will examine the Institute’s current condition and options for the future, members of the community are invited to enjoy snacks and refreshments at a community social on Kresge Oval.
President Susan Hockfield will open the forum, but a major focus will be opportunity for discussion with Provost L. Rafael Reif, Chancellor Phillip L. Clay, and Executive Vice President and Treasurer Theresa M. Stone. Members of the community may submit questions in advance using a form on the State of the Institute website; there will also be a live question-and-answer session at the end.
