List Center wins two awards

The List Visual Arts Center is has been chosen to receive two awards from the New England chapter of the International Association of Art Critics, USA (AICA/USA) for the region's best visual art exhibitions during the 2005-2006 season. "America Starts Here: Kate Ericson and Mel Ziegler," jointly organized by the List Visual Arts Center and Skidmore College, was chosen to receive the First Place Award for Best Monographic Museum show in Boston. In addition, the List Center's exhibition, "Choreographic Turn: Daria Martin and Peter Welzin in Collaboration with William Forsythe," was chosen to receive the second place award for 'Best Thematic Museum Show' in the Boston area at the fifth annual AICA/New England awards ceremony which will be held on February 28 at the Isabella Steward Gardner Museum.
