"Guide to the Perplexed"

"The content of each box speaks a silent language that belongs exclusively to objects," said artist Carol Blackwell of her box constructions on view in "Object Lessons" at the Dean's Gallery (Room E52-466) through Jan. 15. "Guide to the Perplexed" (right) is one of the box assemblages in the exhibit, which also includes mixed-media collages.
