Edgerton Center offers summer girls' program

The Edgerton Center is inviting applications for its summer program called "You Go, Girl!" that will focus on science and career development activities for girls in the greater Boston area who will be entering ninth grade this fall.

Each day of the program, which will run from August 2-5, will begin with a hands-on science activity, ranging from electronics and lasers to LEGO design. In the afternoons, the girls will work on projects focusing on career planning, high school and college preparation and personal development.

The cost for the program is a suggested materials donation of $30. For more information and an application, contact Daniele Lantagne at the Edgerton Center at x3-7931. The application deadline is Friday, July 16.
