MIT President Vest to hold news conference at 3:30pm today, Oct. 1

MIT President Charles M. Vest will hold a news conference today at 3:30 pm in Room 1-114, 77 Massachusetts Avenue, to discuss the use of alcohol on campus and related issues.

Crews with TV equipment can use the handicapped elevator entrance at 33 Massachusetts Avenue (the entrance closest to Memorial Drive rather than the principal entrance at 77 Massachusetts Avenue).

The news conference will be videotaped and broadcast on MIT Cable (Channel 9) shortly after the conference ends (approximately 4:30pm). It will be rebroadcast continuously until 2am Oct. 2.

It is a small room so we are likely to have to limit access to just reporters and photographers and a few officials.
