Choi to play

Violinist Sandy Choi returns to MIT from Paris, where she's spending her junior year abroad, for her solo debut with the MIT Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, Oct. 18 as one of the winners of the 1997 MIT Concerto Competition. Ms. Choi, a junior in economics, has been a member of MIT's Chamber Music Society and String Sinfonietta and has performed around the world as a chamber and orchestral musician. The concert, conducted by Professor Emeritus David Epstein, is at 8:30pm in Kresge Auditorium and will also feature works by Penderecki and Mozart. Admission is $2 at the door.
