Two winning proposals for sustainable construction

A student team from the Department of Architecture was awarded a High Commendation from the Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Design for their proposal to build a zero-energy school campus in Cambodia.

Also receiving High Commendation was Haley Heard MCP '10 for her proposed new urban model for Mumbai, India, using existing coastal hydrology as the armature for development.
