The Parking and Transportation Office is sponsoring its annual 'Toys for Tickets' program this holiday season. Instead of paying an outstanding MIT parking violation, the office will accept a new, unopened toy to settle the ticket.
The monetary value of the toy or game must be equal to or greater than that of the parking violation. The program is open to anyone who has an outstanding MIT parking violation, regardless of the date of violation. Toys will be donated to the Salvation Army in Cambridge. Toys and games for children aged 10-12 are needed the most.
Bring the ticket, the toy and its receipt to the parking office in Room E32-105; office hours are weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
