The new EZRide rush-hour shuttle linking North Station, the MIT campus and Cambridgeport has added a new stop at the Sixth Street crosswalk on Binney Street.
The free "sneak preview" period has also been extended through Friday, Feb. 8. Members of the MIT community with an MIT ID or EZRide sticker will be able to ride the blue buses for free even after regular service begins on Monday, Feb. 11. Others will be charged $1 or 50 cents thereafter.
The Institute is subsidizing the service for MIT community members under a five-year agreement with the Charles River Transportation Management Association, other Cambridge employers and the City of Cambridge. For more information, see the Jan. 16 MIT Tech Talk article or the EZRide web site.
