In Brief

FACULTY MEETING

A special meeting of the faculty will be held on Monday, March 18 at 4 p.m. in Room 10-250, instead of the meeting that was scheduled for March 20. The meeting will provide a discussion of the findings of the Committees on the Status of Women Faculty in the schools of architecture and planning; engineering; humanities, arts and social sciences; and the Sloan School. Professor Nancy Hopkins will present an overview. Professors Lotte Bailyn, Lorna Gibson, Jean Jackson and Terry Knight will serve as panelists; Provost Robert Brown will moderate.

NO TECH TALK

There will be no Tech Talk on March 27 because of spring vacation. The deadline for submitting classified ads and announcements for the March 20 issue, which will cover the period March 20 to April 7, is noon Friday, March 15.

A version of this article appeared in MIT Tech Talk on March 13, 2002.
