The MIT Campus Police, MIT Parking Office and Charles River Transportation Management Association (CRTMA) will hold the annual MIT Commuter Transportation Fair in Lobby 7 and the Student Center courtyard on Wednesday, Oct. 4 from 11:30am-1:30pm.
The sponsors and other hosts will be on hand to discuss alternate ways of getting to and around campus without relying on a car. Farina Cycles will give free bicycle check-ups; Campus Police will register bikes for use on campus and display kryptonite bike locks for cyclists to examine.
Information will be available about the MBTA's expanded CT2 service to the Sullivan Square Orange line, the CRTMA's future plans, walking and riding in Cambridge, and the Massachusetts Avenue reconstruction project.
