Publishing Service Bureau appoints new director

Monica Lee, who joined the MIT Publishing Service Bureau (PSB) in 1998 as a print/design broker, has been named its director.

Before coming to MIT, Ms. Lee held various positions in design and marketing communications, working with a diverse group of clients that included Etonic Tretorn Puma, Swift Ekrich and Weekly Reader. A graduate of Boston College, Ms. Lee was a customer service manager for Charles River Publishing from 1994-98. During her junior year, she studied at the Instituto Internacional in Madrid, Spain. She received the BA in art history in 1987.

At the PSB, Ms. Lee said, she joined "a professional group of talented people who hold a philosophy toward communications that rings true to my own. I feel quite fortunate to have the opportunity to lead this group."

Ms. Lee succeeds the PSB's first director, Bruce Bernstein, who resigned in July. The PSB, established in 1997, assists offices and departments with print and electronic publishing activities.
