Examining today’s health care industry

The MIT Sloan School of Management will host its annual BioInnovations Conference on Friday, Feb. 22, in the Kendall Square Marriott.

Featuring keynotes delivered by the CEOs of Genzyme, Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Quest Diagnostics, the conference will address the theme of "Overcoming Today's Challenges and Driving Future Innovation" in the health care industry.

Four panel discussions will examine the evolving health care landscape through expert insight on:

• Innovation in Therapeutics: Drugs of the Future;
• Building Successful Healthcare Start-Ups in Today’s Challenging Environment;
• The Future of Pricing and Reimbursement;
• Healthcare IT: Beyond the Desktop.

Conference attendees will also have the opportunity to network and learn from scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs from MIT and other top universities as they display their cutting edge breakthroughs in a lunch poster session.
