The MIT $100K ACCELERATE Contest proudly presents Preview Night on Thursday, Feb. 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the MIT Stata Center, where the ACCELERATE semi-finalist teams will be showcasing their start-up demos to the public.
The MIT $100K ACCELERATE Contest is a new contest launched this year. It’s all about execution and helping MIT entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality. A record breaking 250-plus applicants applied to compete in ACCELERATE. The top 28 teams were chosen and awarded $1,000 each to spend on their ideas.
The MIT $100K Competition paired them with rock star mentors and designers. Over Independent Activities Period (IAP), these teams turned their ideas into reality and on Feb. 16, you will get a first peek. The top eight finalist teams will be announced on Feb. 16, and teams will compete for the $10,000 grand prize on Feb. 22 during the Demo Day Finale Show.
