Second book in new MIT Press Engineering Systems Book Series now available

The second book in the new MIT Press Engineering Systems Book Series is now available in the MIT Press Bookstore (with a 20 percent introductory discount).

Engineering Systems: Meeting Human Needs in a Complex Technological World by Olivier L. de Weck, Daniel Roos, and Christopher L. Magee offers a comprehensive examination of a number of different complex, sociotechnical systems and the associated field of engineering systems. According to the publisher's notes, "the authors consider the engineer’s changing role, new ways to model and analyze these systems, the impacts on engineering education, and the future challenges of meeting human needs through the technologically enabled systems of today and tomorrow."
