MIT Museum demos and drop-ins

Throughout the summer, enjoy the MIT Museum's demos and drop-in activities daily from 1-3 p.m. Activities taking place in July include:
  • Light Graffiti: create amazing images using handheld LEDs in a dark room!
  • Motorsports Racer: have a seat in the MIT Motorsports team's race car.
  • Lego DNA: learn about the building blocks of life using our lego models.
  • Gumdrop Domes and Newspaper Bridges: build structures out of everyday materials!
  • Lego Mindstorms: program a robot and get it moving.
All activities and demos are free with museum admission and appropriate for ages 8 and up.

Please note that the times of the programs are approximate and based on staff availability and last minute changes to our daily schedule.
