The MIT Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) Program is pleased to announce that Jane Deutsch recently joined LGO as director of admissions and career development.

"We are delighted to have Jane join LGO in this capacity," said Don Rosenfield, director of LGO, which was formerly MIT Leaders for Manufacturing. "Her expertise in admissions and career development, coupled with her knowledge of LGO, will enable Jane to make significant contributions to the program. We all look forward to working with her."

Deutsch brings valuable perspective to LGO, including significant experience at MIT. Since 2002 she has served the MIT Sloan MBA program as a senior admissions committee member and marketing consultant. Her MIT Sloan work included interviewing applicants to the LGO program. Deutsch helped launch the MIT Leadership Center and developed recruiting processes at the MIT Master of Engineering in Logistics (MLOG) Program. Prior to contributing at MIT, Deutsch held positions at IBM, Polaroid and a small staffing services firm.

Deutsch earned her MBA from MIT Sloan and a BA in political science from Goucher College.

"Having worked at MIT Sloan and in admissions for LGO, I've had the opportunity to get to know LGO quite well," Deutsch said. "It provides a truly unique learning opportunity. I have been consistently impressed by the excellence of the LGO students, the many talents they bring, and the ways in which they enrich the program. I am very happy to expand my role with LGO and become an integral part of the organization."
