Online class system upgraded

A new homework management feature highlights the latest version of Stellar, MIT's web-based class management system. Stellar will be the focus of several IAP events.

Stellar has been used since fall 2001 to create about 400 class web sites at MIT. Stellar 1.4, released this week by the Academic Media Production Services, allows secure submission of homework by students, as well as review and grading features for faculty and TAs.
