Valedictorian Joseph Goldbeck traded the mortar board for a top hat before addressing his classmates at Oneteora High School's graduation ceremony.

The Daily Freeman reported that he then cued appropriate background music and started to juggle multiple balls before speaking. "Life is like a juggling act," said Goldbeck, who is from Woodstock. "May you never drop any balls."
