Ambassador Charles Dunbar, the Warburg Professor in International Relations at Simmons College, will speak on "Unpopular Muslim-World Governments: Can Washington Live With (or Without) Them?" on Tuesday, Sept. 30. His talk is the first of three lectures on contemporary Middle Eastern affairs comprising the 18th annual Emile Bustani Middle East Seminar. All three sessions start at 4:30 p.m. in Room E51-095 and are open to the public.
On Oct. 21, Washington Post columnist Nora Boustany will speak on "New Arab Media: More Professional or Free? A War of Narratives Goes Global." On Oct. 28, Professor Nadim Rouhana from the Department of Psychology at Tel Aviv University will speak on "The Palestinian Right of Return: Refugees and the Roadmap."
