Tim, MIT's beaver mascot, toasts the new clock donated by the Class of 2000 and installed above one of the entrances to the Stratton Student Center. The clock, which was the result of the class' senior gift campaign that started three years ago, began ticking at a dedication ceremony at 6 p.m. on Sept. 27. Class of 2000 alumni Anna K. Benefiel and Bhuvana K. Husain formally presented the gift, which was accepted on behalf of MIT by Peter Cummings, assistant director of business and financial services for the Campus Activities Complex.
