Directories being distributed

MIT Faculty and Staff Directories and the Student Directories are being distributed through the Institute's 36 Distributed Mail Centers.

Student Directories are being delivered to residence halls, fraternities, sororities and independent living groups. Students who live off campus may get copies by presenting their ID cards at the Student Information Center in Rm 7-121. Additional copies of either directory may be obtained by sending e-mail to communications@mit.edu, specifying the number of copies required.

The Faculty and Staff Directory cover features the work of sculptor/inventor Arthur Ganson of MIT's Artist-in-Residence program. The Student Directory cover features the Museum's Robots and Beyond exhibit.

Both directories include a Tech Trivia IQ Test. Correct responses will be entered in a drawing in April, with the winner receiving a $100 gift certificate for the MIT Museum Shop.

Photos for the covers of both directories were supplied by Henry Groskinsky, Stuart Darsch, Sam Ogden and the MIT Museum. Tim Blackburn and Chris Reese of the Publishing Services Bureau designed the covers, using images from the MIT Museum.

Telephone directories and catalogues can be recycled by placing them in desk-side bins or in the blue-top common area bins. For more information about recycling, contact Kevin Healy at x3-6360 or recycling@ mit.edu.
