Prize offered for online ECAT users

During the month of May, anyone who places an order to Office Depot through ECAT is automatically entered into a drawing for a Palm VII handheld computer, offered by Office Depot. The drawing will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 7 in Lobby 13 (though the winner need not be present).

ECAT is MIT's second-generation web-based system for purchasing directly from selected MIT partner vendors. ECAT is integrated into SAPweb for quick creation of requisitions.

To be eligible, users must create an online ECAT order before 4pm on May 31. Only one entry per person qualifies. Paper requisitions and faxed or printed orders are ineligible. MIT staff directly affiliated with ECAT development, procurement, or related business practices are also not eligible.

For more information about the drawing or about ECAT, see hthe ECAT web site or contact Glenn Curtis at gcurtis@mit.edu, Judi Bean at jcbean@mit.edu or Mike McNamara at mcnamara@mit.edu.
