Open chess tournament will benefit Cambrige School Volunteers

Members of the MIT community are invited to take part in the sixth annual Cambridge School Volunteers' open chess tournament on Monday, April 17 in the Stratton Student Center Mezzanine Lounge.

The entry fee is $25 if mailed by April 14 (e-mail and phone entries are $27 in advance), or $30 at the door. Registration on the day of the tournament is from 8:15-9:30am. Rounds of play begin at 10am, 12:15pm, 2:30pm and 4:45pm.

There will be cash prizes, trophies and medals for winners in the various divisions. All proceeds benefit Cambridge School Volunteers, Inc. For more information on the tournament and how to enter, see the web site.
