The first meeting of the MIT Gardeners' Group will be held on Thursday, Oct. 7 from noon-1pm in the Bush Room (10-105). Participants at the last MIT Plant Swap suggested the formation of the group, and the Women's League will sponsor it.
Community members already have made a number of suggestions for the group, including topics for informal talks, demonstrations, resource lists and field trips. The first meeting will focus on reviewing these ideas and hearing other suggestions from interested participants.
The Gardeners' Group is open to anyone in the MIT community who's interested in gardening.
