The MIT Bulletin 1999-2000, Courses and Degree Programs Issue (also known as the course catalogue) will be available to all students and staff members from Thursday, Aug. 26 through Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Faculty members can also get copies in their department headquarters, and staff members can pick up their copies in the Distributed Mail Centers (DMC), where mail is distributed.
Those picking up a Bulletin in Rm 8-119 must show MIT identification. When picking up copies for more than one person, they will be asked to provide a list of those individuals' names for distribution records.
Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 8, copies will be available to the community in the Information Center (Rm 7-121) or the Communications Office (Rm E28-100). Copies for alumni/ae will be available in the Alumni Center (Rm 10-110).
The course descriptions and schedule of classes for 1999-2000 are also available on the web.
Applicants may obtain catalogue information by calling the special request line at x3-2635. Within the United States, the MIT Bulletin is $5 per copy when mailed second class (with delivery in three to four weeks) and $8 per copy when mailed first class (with delivery in one week). Shipment to Canada or Mexico is $8; overseas locations are $16 per copy. Payment must be by international money order or check drawn on a US bank.
Throughout the year, copies of the MIT Bulletin are available to visitors on campus at $5 per copy at three locations: the MIT Coop in the Student Center, the MIT Press Bookstore at 292 Main St. in Kendall Square, and the MIT Coop in Kendall Square.
