Free family-skating events planned

The MIT Activities Committee (MITAC) and the Athletic Department will be hosting its annual Family Ice Skating Party for all members of the MIT community and their families at the ice rink in the Johnson Athletic Center on both Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 24 and 25, from 2-5pm. Due to popular demand, an extra day has been added this year.

A limited selection of skates will be available at a reduced rental rate with a valid MIT ID ($2 for children and MIT students or $3 for adults). Free hot beverages will be provided. The women's track and field team will also sell hot dogs, cold drinks and other items during the event. An MIT ID card will be required for admittance to the rink.

Anyone with questions may call Coach Paul Slovenski of the Athletic Department at x3-3633.
