MPC to hold Materials Day

On Monday, Oct. 5, the Materials Processing Center (MPC) will host Materials Day '98 at MIT, which includes a workshop on "Precision in Shape, Process Control, Structure and Properties" and the third annual MPC research review poster session.

The MPC invites industry representatives, faculty and students to attend the workshop in Kresge Little Theater and poster session in La Sala de Puerto Rico. The events, which start at 8am and end with dinner at 5:30pm, will allow participants to exchange ideas and research results with colleagues and industry guests. This year, the MPC is offering cash prizes to students participating in the poster session.
