League offers English classes

The MIT Women's League will offer English conversation classes for international women this term. Beginner, intermediate and advanced classes are held Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:15-11am.

Registration will be Tuesday, February 11, from 9-11am in the Bush Room (Bldg 10-105). Classes will begin Thursday, February 13, and continue through April. Thursday morning classes are followed by an informal coffee get-together where participants are invited to socialize and practice their new language skills.

A class fee of $50 per student (includes books) is charged. Babysitting is available for $100 per child but space is limited, so the League accepts applications on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call coordinator Jan Kirtley at 277-2628 or Sis de Bordenave in the Women's League office, x3-3656.
