ATIC Lab moves to Bldg 12

The ATIC Lab (Adaptive Technology for Information and Computing) has temporarily relocated to Rm 12-150 from its former location off the Infinite Corridor in Building 11. ATIC will move into new permament headquarters late this summer.

The changes are a result of construction on the new Student Services Center (SSC). In August, ATIC will move from its temporary location (an interview room loaned by Career Services) to Rm 3-123, where the SSC now resides.

"ATIC has long been in need of greater space, and the Student Services Reengineering Project has helped make that happen. We look forward to being in an accessible, larger space on the Infinite Corridor," said Kathy Cahill, ATIC coordinator.

In the ATIC lab, anyone in the MIT community with a disability such as repetetive strain injury or visual impairment can see and try out adaptive computer hardware and software. The facility also provides 24-hour-a-day access to adaptive computing workstations for students. Its phone number (x3-7808) and e-mail address have not changed.
