Women's League offers MIT cookbook

What's Cooking Under the Dome, the new MIT Women's League cookbook, goes on sale for the first time on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 5-6, at the Tech Community Crafters' annual Holiday Crafts Fair in Lobby 10. Fair hours are 9am-5pm.

What's Cooking Under the Dome captures the flavor and spirit of MIT with 250 recipes from the Institute's most creative cooks and entertainers, and it also includes historical sketches and photos of campus life. The hardcover volume sells for $15.95, or $20 when packaged and ready to mail. Quantity discounts are available.

"We've kept the price well within student budgets," said Liz Kleiman of the Women's League cookbook committee. "It will make a great holiday gift for anyone with or without an MIT connection, and what's more, all profits go to scholarships." Others on the committee are Martha Harleman, Mary Hill, Alyce McLaughlin, Cleo Schimmel and Sis de Bordenave.

The book is also on sale in the League office (Rm 10-342). Inquiries should be directed to the Women's League at x3-3656.
