Hitting the macadam with Adam

Still recovering from a bout with a stomach virus, Adam Kaczmarek and his cycling partner appreciate the flat roads of Indiana and Ohio. A nice tailwind makes their ride even more pleasant.

Adam and his cycling partner's west-to-east cross-country bike trip, which may be followed at http://crosscountry.mit.edu, will benefit the Uniformed Firefighters Association Widow's and Children's Fund. Kaczmarek's cousin, Christopher Santora, was a New York firefighter who lost his life in the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001.
