Evan Ziporyn wins Lieberson Fellowship

Evan Ziporyn, the Kenan Sahin Distinguished Professor of Music, has been awarded one of two Goddard Lieberson Fellowships by the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He is one of 16 recipients of this year's awards in music, which total $185,000. The Goddard Lieberson fellowships of $15,000, endowed in 1978 by the CBS Foundation, are given to mid-career composers of exceptional gifts.


MFA passes available

MIT staff members can borrow one of eight membership passes to Boston's Museum of Fine Arts for daily or weekend use. Reservations are only accepted 24 hours before the desired date of use. Call 253-4003 and pick up passes in Room E15-205.
