Tech Shuttle adds winter morning service

In anticipation of inclement weather, the Charles River Transportation Management Association and the MIT Parking and Transportation Office have announced the resumption of the Tech Shuttle extra winter morning service.

Starting Dec. 3, a SafeRide van will run the Tech route each morning in addition to the Paul Revere Transportation minibus. A shuttle will stop every 10 minutes from 8 to 11 a.m. rather than the normal 20-minute waiting time between vehicles. The winter morning service will last until April 12.

The Tech Shuttle follows the MIT holiday schedule. There will be no shuttle service on Tuesday, Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Jan. 1.

See the shuttle web site for its route and schedule. Anyone with questions may contact Jim Gascoigne or call (617) 914-8081.
