Help desks extend hours

In an effort to enhance its services and availability to the community, Information Systems has extended the hours of operation for the Computing Help Desk and the Business Liaison Team.

Starting Oct. 15, both help desks will be staffed from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. from Monday through Friday. They formerly were available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Users can still submit questions after hours by phone or e-mail.

The Computing Help Desk provides assistance on Information Systems-supported products and services for Macintosh and Windows computers. The Business Liaison Team supports the MIT community in the use of MIT's business applications.

To contact the Computing Help Desk, call x3-1101 (Mac) or x3-1102 (Windows), send e-mail to computing-help@mit.edu.

To contact the Business Liaison Team, call x2-1177, e-mail business-help@mit.edu.
