Campus construction updates

STATA CENTER

Construction of a slurry wall will result in heavy truck traffic on Vassar Street for the next nine months. As a safety measure, the loading dock at Building 36 will be closed to truck deliveries. Pedestrian access near that loading dock and along Building 26 will be closed off until further notice. Pedestrians should enter through the lobby of Building 34.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE. PROJECT

Contractors working for the City of Cambridge will be drilling test pits at various points along Memorial Drive and Massachusetts Avenue in advance of installing new sewer pipes.

MEDIA LAB EXPANSION

Geo-environmental testing inside and outside Buildings E10 and E20 begins this summer.
