Apply now for fall MBTA passes

Applications for 1997-98 subsidized MBTA passes are now being accepted. Forms have been sent via campus mail to parking coordinators for distribution; they can be picked up at the Parking and Transportation Office in Rm E32-105 (call x8-6510 first).

Employees who are currently receiving subsidized T passes will be automatically renewed. Those who wish to stop receiving passes should fill out and return a cancellation form, available in the Parking Office and from parking coordinators. Faculty and students who are leaving MIT must cancel their passes to stop all deductions from payroll or bursar.

The deadline for September and October MBTA passes is August 31. Employee and Student applications received by August 14 can be payroll- or bursar-deducted for September. Anyone who sends an application after that date must bring cash or a check when they pick up the T passes at the Parking Office. Other pick-up locations will not accept cash or checks or distribute passes to those who did not meet the August 14 deadline.
